About Me

Hello! My name is Kristy Denton--wife, mom, animal lover, Certified Acupuncturist, CranioSacral Therapy Practitioner, and owner of Total Body Relaxation LLC.

 

Like you, I have been thrown a few curveballs in life. After the loss of one of my twin sons in 2012, life just felt harder. Things I once loved were no longer of interest to me, and everyday felt like I was just going through the motions. My body was tired and so was my heart and soul. 

 

It was through receiving bodywork that I began to feel more alive. With each session, I felt more connected to myself, my body, and the world around me. Being here and now actually felt good.

 

The pain in my body lessened, my energy started to return, and I began to feel more like myself again--maybe even better. This revelation started me on my path to becoming a bodyworker so I could help others along their journey.

After becoming certified and licensed in a variety of therapeutic modalities, I narrowed my focus to specialize in the yang modality of Acupuncture and yin modality of CranioSacral Therapy. Through therapeutic bodywork my clients find profound results and a better sense of balance within their bodies. 

 

Helping people with pain, anxiety and trauma find relief and participate more fully in their lives continues to be an extremely rewarding experience. I truly feel blessed to be even a small part of each and every one of my clients' healing journeys.
